Fed up with your thoughts of fear that may sometimes drive you wild with anxiety? Do you have way too many conversations clogging your brain that lead to panic? Are your thoughts, feelings or emotions making you feel tired, sick or depressed?

Here is the thing! These over-abundant thoughts, emotions and feelings can be exterminated from your life. Yes, there is a way for you to quell your fears, manage your anxiety and live your life with full brilliance and power!

And here is the good news! I know this works because I used to live my life in fear. This fear created crazy anxiety and my life was constantly at a stand still. I felt blocked and lacked hope that life could change.

Does this sound familiar to you? Fear and anxiety can make your life miserable. Don’t be robbed of your peace, joy and happiness for one more day.

Let’s get started so that you can begin your journey to fearless and anxiety free living…

1. Recognize Your Stop Sign!

Whenever you feel like you are going to get on your emotional fear rollercoaster the first thing to do is STOP what you are doing right away. In fact, say, “STOP” out loud to jolt your brain to change the forward pulse of negativity. This step alone is probably the best step you could master. Fearful thoughts have a life and power of their own and when left to their own devises can create chaos.

2. Breathe!

You have probably heard this a million times but it is so important to breathe. When you breathe is helps to improve and maintain your health. The main focus is to get fresh air into your lungs which is critical for fear and anxiety management. A simple breathing exercise is to take a breath through your nose for the count of 4, then hold for the count of 5 and then let go gently through the mouth for the count of 6.

3. Wake Up On The Right Side Of The Bed!

When you wake up in the mornings think about all the wonderful and good things in your life. When you focus on the positive thoughts you will exterminate the negative. Your fear will not have the time or attention to grow. Cheerful and motivating thoughts of how you wish your day to proceed will start your day off with a powerful smile.

4. Know You Are Not Crazy!

Did you know that anxiety is a normal emotion and you can control it? Anxiety can be very fearful and create pain and stagnation in your life. Know that anxiety is not to be feared and these feelings will go away. By relaxing and distracting your fearful thoughts with positive thoughts the fear will pass.

5. Experience Your Great Life!

Listen to what you think about and control your thoughts. Negative thoughts can grow and overcome your mind while powerfully increasing your anxiety. Have self-discipline and control over your feelings as they can strengthen you and your fear will be wiped out. Now that there are so many great things about you… You are strong, you have many talents, and you are very loving and confident. You are positive and radiate good, pure energy. You love life and are happy to be alive!

6. Block Out The Negative – Nothing Gets In Your Way!

Stay focused on your strength, enthusiasm and positive energy. They are greater than any problem that might come your way. Know that challenging fear based problems are just wonderful opportunities to grow. Say to yourself “I am positive and I like myself. I am working towards making myself stronger. I accept who I am at this moment, this day, this week. I will feel stronger tomorrow and even stronger in six months.”

7. Keep Busy!

Keeping busy will keep your mind off any fear and anxiety you might have. Exercise, yoga, reading, playing, hiking, swimming, dancing – anything to occupy you and your mind. If you allow yourself to sit and wallow in fear you will only breed negativity. These negative thoughts will grow and not go away. Set positive physical goals that you can achieve everyday. When you accomplish your goals you will feel more positive about yourself and your thoughts will create an entirely different meaning. Exercise is a great release of negative energy and it is a fabulous way to keep your fears from consuming you.

8. Chill Out and Laugh!

We all have heard that laughter is the best medicine in helping you to relax and feel calm. When you laugh you begin to feel happier. Choose healthy activities that will brighten your spirits and make you giggle. Meditation is also a great way to feel calm, clear your mind and allow for positive thoughts to drift in and out. By chilling out and laughing you will not only feel relaxed but feel present with your body, mind and spirit.

The thing to remember is … everyone experiences fear, anxiety and stress…even me! Stress is healthy in small amounts and it keeps us alive. Yet, if you let it get out of control, your mind will take over with negative thoughts and the crazy ride on the rollercoaster seems to never end. Fear takes over and consumes your life.

So before this happens ask yourself this:

Would you rather have fearful thoughts creating those creepy pests like anxiety, stress, tiredness, sickness or depression?

Or better yet…would you like to change that fear and anxiety into something positive?  By choosing fearless living you are able to calm your anxieties, conquer your fears and put YOU in control of your life!

There is no reason why you should loose out from all the greatness of who you are. Your life is full of wonderment, success, passion, love and incredible journeys.
