Most women I work with have clients. They have credentials. They have taken the courses, joined the masterminds, and implemented the strategies. And still, something isn’t clicking the way it should be. It’s harder than it feels like it should be. The clients aren’t finding you as easily as you’d hoped. Your messaging feels a little off, but you can’t quite put your finger on why.
Here’s what I see after thirty years of working with business owners:
These women are not running her business. They’re performing it.
Wearing a costume, playing the role of a business owner the way, she was taught, doing it the way everyone told her it should be done. And the problem isn’t effort. The problem isn’t even strategy. The problem is that the blueprint she’s following was never built for her.
The right way to build a business is as individual as you are.
And Human Design is the tool that shows you what that looks like specifically and in a way that no other framework I’ve encountered in three decades of consulting work can match.
The Costume Nobody Told You About
We are all trained in the same business playbook.
Build your brand. Niche down. Post consistently. Follow the funnel. Sound confident. Look polished. Do it the way the successful people in your industry are doing it and if it’s not working, do more of it.
The problem is that this playbook was written for someone else. And when you follow someone else’s blueprint for long enough, you stop being able to hear your own instincts. You start second-guessing the things that feel natural to you and doubling down on the things that feel hard because hard must mean you’re doing it right.
I’ve watched brilliant women exhaust themselves this way. And I’ve seen the moment that exhaustion starts repelling the very clients they want because when potential clients can’t quite tell who you are or what you really stand for, they hesitate. What looks like a marketing problem is usually an alignment problem.
The costume is costing you clients. And it’s costing you energy you don’t have to spare.
Why Human Design Changes Everything
For most of my career, I used the best tools available for understanding people’s potential: Myers-Briggs, DISC, StrengthsFinder. All useful. All effective, within their limits.
Then I discovered Human Design and I couldn’t go back.
The difference was this: every other assessment puts people into categories. Sixteen types. Four quadrants. Five strengths. The framework sorts you, labels you, and tells you which box you fit in. And there’s something useful in that until you realize the box is still limiting you.
Human Design doesn’t sort you into a type. It maps you. It shows you your unique energetic blueprint not a category you share with a percentage of the population, but the specific way you are wired to do business, make decisions, communicate, attract clients, and sustain your energy. It doesn’t limit your possibilities. It reveals them.
I began using it exclusively with my clients. The results were different from anything I’d seen before.
What Human Design Actually Does for Your Business
Not the reading. Not the report. The application. This ‘s where it actually changes things: Your energy and your right business structure
Not every business owner is built to hustle 60 hours a week, be constantly visible, or run a team. Your Human Design shows you how your energy actually works whether you’re designed for sustained output or powerful bursts, whether you thrive flying solo or need the right people around you, what kind of work lights you up and what drains you dry. Knowing this isn’t a luxury. It’s the difference between building something sustainable and burning yourself out trying to run someone else’s business.
Your natural skills and talents remembered, not invented
Most of the women I work with already know, on some level, what they’re brilliant at. They’ve just been talked out of trusting it. Human Design gives you a map of your innate gifts not skills you developed because you had to, but capacities you were born with. When you see them reflected back in your chart, it doesn’t feel like new information. It feels like recognition. Oh. That’s why that’s always been easy for me.
Direction and clarity around what you’re here to do
This is where the fog lifts for most people. Human Design gives you language for your purpose not in a vague, spiritual sense, but in a practical, business-applicable sense. What are you here to do? Who are you here to serve? What’s the work that only you can do in the way that only you can do it? These aren’t questions Human Design leaves unanswered.
Who needs what you offer
Your design shows you who you’re built to attract the energy of your tribe, the kind of client who is genuinely wired to receive what you offer. This isn’t just a marketing exercise. It’s understanding the energetic resonance between you and the people you’re meant to serve. When you’re aligned with that, the right clients don’t have to be convinced. They recognize you.
Messaging that actually lands
Most messaging problems aren’t writing problems. They’re clarity problems — and beneath the clarity problem is an alignment problem. When you’re clear on who you are, what you believe, and who you’re talking to, the words come. Human Design helps you find the angle, the language, and the conviction that’s uniquely yours — so your content sounds like you and speaks directly to the person who needs you.
How you and your clients are designed for sales and buying
This one surprises people. Human Design gives you insight into your own decision-making process and into how your ideal clients make decisions too. Some people need time and emotional clarity before they say yes. Others move fast once something resonates. Understanding these dynamics changes everything about how you show up in a sales conversation. You stop pushing and start trusting the process.
The Gap Between Knowing and Using It
I used to do readings. Comprehensive, detailed Human Design readings for business owners and people loved them. I did hundreds of them. I loved doing them.
But somewhere along the way, I noticed something. People were excited in the moment. They left with a recording and a new vocabulary for themselves. And then — nothing changed. A few months later some couldn’t even remember their energy type.
The reading was interesting. It just wasn’t actionable.
I saw a version of this recently with a client a woman who had done multiple readings, had a stack of notes, and still felt completely stuck about the direction of her business. She knew her type. She knew her profile. But she had no idea how to pick up that information and walk it into Monday morning.
That’s when I stopped doing readings and started teaching, not just the mechanics of Human Design, but how to use it. Where it applies in your business. What changes when you run your marketing through the lens of your design, or structure your offers around your energy, or have a sales conversation that honors the way you’re built to connect.
Knowledge without application is just interesting. Application is where your business actually changes.
This Isn’t About Learning Something New
This isn’t another system to master, another framework to implement, another set of rules to follow on top of the ones you’re already struggling to keep up with.
Human Design is a remembering.
When you see your chart applied to your business, when someone walks you through what it actually means for the way you work, the way you communicate, the clients you’re meant to serve, it doesn’t land like new information. It lands like relief.
“That’s why I’ve always struggled. That’s what I’ve been trying to say. That’s the direction I knew I was supposed to go”. I hear it all the time.
I’ve watched women sit with this recognition and feel something shift not just intellectually, but in their bones. The second-guessing quiets. The exhausting performance stops. What’s left is someone who knows who she is and how to put that into the world.
That is where your best business strategy lives, right inside you.
