Unlocking Intuition with Tarot

Unlocking Intuition with Tarot by Ma Deva Padma | #AspireMag

When it comes to exercising intuition, tarot cards are a perfect fit. Tarot decks have seventy-eight images depicting various personalities and aspects of life. The deck comprises two distinctive groups; the Minor Arcana includes four suits with fourteen cards in each, often depicted as Cups, Wands, Swords, and Coins (or Pentacles). The second group of twenty-two trumps is called the Major Arcana. Think of a tarot deck as a mirror that offers a glimpse into the emotional and psychological influences underpinning our feelings, preferences, hopes, and fears. When a message is revealed during a tarot session, one must respect the subtle voice of intuition. Translating a message shared during a session requires sensitivity to discern between the voice of reason (ego) and the inner truth of intuition.

Card decks such as The Sacred She Tarot enlighten us by increasing self-awareness. It can reveal the part we are playing in life unfolding circumstances. Consulting tarot cards is a productive means to clarify, for oneself, the emotions, events, or personality traits affecting a particular situation. When used with sincere intention, tarot decks are a powerful tool that can effectively reveal possibilities that may otherwise be missed.

Intuition unlocks the power of your senses to discover a more profound experience beyond what you see. Embrace the beauty of sound, the richness of scents, and the texture of touch to awaken your senses. Sensitivity activates and nourishes the inner world of the divine feminine principle, which is innate in us all.

Inspiration is strengthened by creatively and spontaneously sharing our insights without fear of reprisal. The language of color, signs, and symbols in the tarot cards reveal a beautiful constellation rich with meaning and purpose.

Intuition encourages the ability to understand something immediately without needing conscious reasoning. It flows between heart and mind and uses all our senses to convey understanding. Intuition is a precious resource for revelation offered during any kind of self-inquiry. By tuning into the nuances of change impacting our emotional climate, we become aware of the shifting conditions within ourselves and the bigger picture of social dynamics.

History is riddled with accounts of oppression that curtailed spontaneous, intuitive expression. This repression has denied the divine feminine voice for millennia. Persecution and fear of authoritarian religious dogma have kept a tight lid on our intuitive nature that bypasses propriety by speaking directly from the heart. Intuitive knowledge is immediate and responsive; it arises without conditions and can offer alternatives and sometimes unexpected points of view.

For centuries, tarot cards and tarot readers have been classified as magical absurdity, superstition, and blasphemy. For the most part, women have borne the brunt of dominant masculine authority that doubts (and even fears) any expression that arises from intuition.

Tarot cards celebrate and encourage the intuitive inner voice that weaves between the conscious and subconscious realms. These inspired cards, grounded in ancient wisdom, strengthen intuitive interpretation through archetypal imagery rich in symbolism that supports insight.

The enigmatic nature of intuition is innate to everyone but must be respectfully accepted. It is primordial knowledge that, unfortunately, in many, remains an untapped resource. Activating our intuitive nature requires receptivity in a spirit of openhearted trust. Yet, this intuitive insight often is troubling to those dependent on logic, who aim to keep it in check, out of sight, and most certainly out of mind. In other words, intuitive expressions are nonsense to anyone who relies solely on reasonability.

It is crucial to trust and give expression to the inner voice, even when it challenges the ego’s need for control over outcomes, people, and events. Trusting your intuition is essential for personal growth, developing empathy, and a wholesome respect for all that life offers. Once affirmed, streaming intuition relaxes the rigid, uptight mind like water flowing over the rock. This feminine attribute increases sensitivity and compassion as it supports understanding in all areas of life.

Consulting tarot in a spirit of sincere inquiry gradually calms the worried or confused mind by strengthening self-awareness.

As a tool for uplifting consciousness, it reveals profound truths. Once we understand that we are the authors of our own unfolding story, not ensnared victims in someone else’s fiction, we are set free. We can and should become the change we seek.

Genuine authority is formed by trial and error as one searches for wisdom utilizing tarot not as a means for prediction but for inspiring self-reflection and self-awareness. Tarot decks are a brilliant means for empowering the divine feminine principle that resides within the heart of our being.
