Self-confidence is one the keys to our Happiness and yet, I see some people really struggle everyday with this issue. Self-Confidence is a mental state and it can be developed and cultivated if we make the conscious choice and pay the price, which is small compared to the high return we get when we feel confident.
The key to boost our self-confidence is to really know ourselves, to see ourselves for who we really are. Some people tend to see themselves through the conditionings that they’ve gained through life, coming from their families, their culture and the bad experiences that they might have had over the years. These only rob them from their feelings of joy and freedom, which are natural to all of us.
When we see ourselves through the distorted lenses of our Conditioned-Self or our ego-mind, and we judge ourselves based on external criteria, we will feel that we don’t deserve good things, including how much abundance we let in our lives. We will definitely limit our full potential through this distorted vision, as we don’t see ourselves clearly, and we’ll let doubt and fear dominate our minds, limiting what we are really capable of achieving.
The truth is that we all are whole and perfect beings, we are more than good enough just the way we are now. The more you know this, the greater will be your confidence. We are spiritual beings, there is no one that has more power, more knowledge or more access to resources than anyone else, we’re all equal, and we all have the same opportunities.
All you need is this awareness… You’re capable of doing and achieving anything you want. You’re capable of becoming who you came here to be and live the life you came here to live.
I challenge you to cultivate your self-confidence, and step out so you can live your heart’s desires and shine! Your spirit will never truly desire to do something if you weren’t capable of doing it. Leave your conditionings behind and start practicing these helpful tips:
1. Learn a new way of communicating with yourself – Pay attention to what you’re saying to yourself, because you’re really listening. Replace your conditioned beliefs with more accurate ones. Write down the messages you would like to tell yourself, replacing the negative thoughts, and seeing your beautiful unique essence as a spiritual being. Start to see who you really are.
2. Start complimenting yourself – Compliment yourself every time you accomplish something, every time you do something right. Celebrate it! Start a “Celebrating ME” journal where you can collect evidence of your achievements, that way you can always revisit if you’re not having a good day.
3. Take loving actions on your own behalf – ask yourself, “If I really loved myself, I would ___________” and fill in the blank. Do this exercise frequently, but most of all, take action!
4. Do an inventory of your Strengths and Weaknesses – focus your energy on developing your strengths and manage your weaknesses. Direct your attention at what you know you do well, and get even better at it. Imagine spending your life doing the things you’re great at and loving it. You’ll be able to say with conviction that you really know your stuff.
5. Give yourself permission to be who you came here to be – See yourself as a magnificent and perfect expression of life. You’re a co-creator with the Universe. Remember that whatever you put out will come back. Self-confidence is created when you are aware of your oneness with Spirit, so let it work with and through you.
Confidence will allow you to live your heart’s deepest desires, and your heart’s desires are meant for greater good in your life, and the lives of those around you.
