Radical Writing Demonstrates How Inspirational Writing Is A Key To Better Health

Radical Writing Demonstrates How Inspirational Writing Is A Key To Better Health by Laura Cerwinske | #AspireMag

When I am writing, my problems become invisible, and I am the same person (before cancer) I always was. All is well. I am as I should be. Movie critic Roger Ebert, 2010

Your experience of your life is based on the way you use your thoughts to direct your feelings and emotions. Every thought you have sets into motion a sea change of activity throughout your mind and your body. Whatever you verbalize or visualize will produce a biochemical reaction that has a dynamic biological manifestation. Thus, it is no surprise that an eager, buoyant attitude toward life stimulates your anatomical juices just as negativity diminishes energy, circulation, and creativity.

Feelings are a by-product of cellular metabolism and pulsation. Their expression requires the creation of new neural and nervous pathways. Emotions are made up of feelings intense enough to organize into a behavioral or muscular pattern with a direction and intent. They seek to change outer and inner situations. They move us toward the world and then back to ourselves. Without inspiration, or the injection of new perspective, their neural pathways degrade, literally, into “ruts.”

The unfettered subconscious goes purely where your thoughts direct it. When your ideas become fixed, your thoughts judgmental, and your attitudes rigid, your physical anatomy becomes an unhealthy mirror. Stagnancy breeds dis-ease. A mind filled with judgmental thoughts – conscious or unconscious — compels the life force to leak away. For this reason, nonjudgmental awareness of your thoughts is crucial to your health and personal fulfillment. When your thoughts emanate from the infinite world of the subconscious, where inspiration resides, they are imbued instead with infinite power – the power to build, to destroy, to embrace, to reimagine.

The power to achieve and sustain health begins with your ability to conceive and believe yourself as strong and fully functioning. This requires access to continuous inspiration, i,e, to the subconscious, which can be reached through Radical Writing, a creative writing course that opens the doors to the worlds of creative inspiration. This online writing program requires no experience or expertise, not even in spelling, punctuation, or grammar. Rather, it is a directed process of self-expression that generates creativity as it stimulates the body’s anatomical resources.

Creative writing courses such as Radical Writing demonstrate the power of inspiration to uplift body and mind together. By learning to become non-judgmentally conscious of negative feelings (often buried beneath determined affirmations and smiling facades) and to safely express them in careful, cathartic context such as this writing workshop provides, you gain confident vitality. You recognize thoughts and feelings that no longer serve your well and the means to creatively dispel them. This writer’s worshop involves only a willingness to hear your inner voices without censorship or judgment and to allow your passions to safely direct you toward a healthier, more vital life.
