It can be challenging to stay in high vibe even in the best of times!Add in chaos and turmoil and it may feel harder to sustain a loving and peaceful energy and positive mindset—but it is possible with conscious intention.  

I get it. You may feel the negativity of the world taking you down and overriding the positive things that are happening in your life. That’s because your brain automatically defaults to a negative mindset. It holds on to negative thoughts that lead to another negative thought and then another. After a while, your brain has created a chain reaction of negative thoughts. This is when you find yourself going down the rabbit hole. 

Although you are in a physical body, you are more than your thoughts and the physical circumstances you find yourself. You are a vibrating, eternal being of light energy. You are connected to an energy field that is formless, vibrating, and emanates from you. The good news is that you can consciously plug into this energetic field through prayer, meditation, being in nature, or simple mindfulness. Such higher awareness opens you to your divine nature and strengthens your sense of connection with others and the universe.  

Knowing that can connect to this energy has always been my touchstone in the midst of fear. As a little girl, I found solace in experiencing this energy all around and through me. At the time, I didn’t know how to explain this universal connection I felt to everyone and everything.  Yet I knew that it made me feel safe and divinely protected when my life was chaotic and unpredictable. It was a deep internal knowing that, “Everything was going to be Ok,” no matter what was happening in my life.  

Another mantra that helps me recalibrate my energy is: I am responsible for the energy I bring to every moment. When I think, speak, and choose from love, my energy ascendsYet, when I come from fear and negativity, my energy descends. Just by opening my heart and exuding love, gratitude, or joy, my energy resets to a higher vibration. 

Here are 5 Sacred Practices to Raise Your Vibration in Difficult Times: 

Open Your Heart & Connect to Source. You connect to your divine source through opening your heart. This powerful source of energy flows through you—also referred to as light, God, higher power, universal energy, or divine intelligence. When you open your heart, you generate a high vibrational energy that brings your body, mind, and spirit into harmonic resonance. This simple act of opening your heart and expanding your energy raises your vibration and the vibration of those around you.  

Close your eyes and visualize a stream of white light moving up from your heart and out through the top of your head (crown chakra). See the light energy stream connecting you to your divine source. Focus your attention on this stream of light energy. Visualize a figure eight from your heart out the top of your head and back to your heart again. Now open your heart and expand your awareness to any information being divinely downloaded. Allow any images, sensations, or intuitions, to come through you. Take a moment and write down what you experienced or downloaded.  

Focus on Love, Joy, and Gratitude.Tapping into love, joy and gratitude is key to elevating your vibration in challenging timesThat’s why it’s important to become aware of the energy you bring to every moment. You may not always know when you are operating at a lower vibration. But, here’s your cueif you feel triggered by any negative feelings, you are operating from a lower vibration. Time to pause and take a timeout to regulate your emotional field and recalibrate your energy.   

Increase your spiritual practice. Meditate, pray, walk in nature, talk to your angels, and connect with your spiritual guides. Not just once a day, but several times a day. Tapping into love, joy, and gratitude elevates your energy to a higher vibration. The practice of gratitude plugs you into the high vibration of love and this is the anecdote for fear because where love exists fear does not. Like a short in an electrical wire, fear short circuits your energy and lowers your vibration. The energy of love, joy, and gratitude, on the other hand, amplifies your vibration. It enhances your health and well-being and this positive energy ripples out to others.  

Dwell on the Positive Moments. Look for something positive everyday even if some days you have to look harder. Dwelling on the positivemomentsinyour life moves you toward the tipping pointofpositivity. Real experiences of awe, contentment, wonder, joy, warmth, inspiration, happiness, gratitude, and connectedness–anything good in your life needs to be given focused attention. Doing so shifts your mindset toward the good things in your life, which, in turn, allows for a genuine resilience in your mind, body, and spirit.   

Take a few minutes each day to consciously focus on a positive experience you had that day or at some other time. Something may have made you happy, laughsmile, or a nice surprise may have come your way. Whatever it is, give yourself a moment to think about it. Experience the feeling you had when it happened. Feel it in your body. Notice the change in you as you allow yourself to think about it, then savor it. Let yourself deeply appreciate all the components of this feeling. The chances are you will feel better than you did just minutes ago.  

Zip Up Your Energetic Boundaries. By setting energetic boundaries, you become a more loving, compassionate person. These love fences” allow you to compassionately engage with others, but still protect yourself from any unwanted negative energy. By zipping up your energetic suit, you sustain an open heart while simultaneously removing yourself from any negative energies such as anger, fear, and negativity. Be discerning about the people you spend time with and the environments you inhabit. Consciously consider where you live, work, and spend most of your time.  

Keep your protective energetic boundaries in place by beaming love and light into the space around you as you encounter any toxic energy or enter a stressful situation. Imagine expanding your energy field in all directions from your heart center. Like a “divine energy shield,” visualize your energy field emanating from your heart center beyond your body. Fill the room with your bright and brilliant light energy. When you walk into a room, take up more space by expanding your energy field. Be aware throughout the day whether you are shrinking or expanding your energy field.  

View Life from a Higher Level of AwarenessWhen you view your life from a higher level of awareness, you access a greater wealth of information to support your soul’s evolution. Shift from viewing things simply in physical terms to seeing why things happen from a higher, more enlightened perspective. Through this spiritual lens, you will be able to sense, feel, and intuit what resonates with your soul’s path. You will also become aware of hunches, gut feelings, intuitions, multisensory perceptions, or divine synchronicities. Like 2020 vision, you will begin to see things from a multi-sensory system rather than just a five sensory system. 

Like looking through a periscope in a submarine, lift yourself out of the lower vibrations of human consciousness and elevate your vibration. Remind yourself on these days when it’s difficult to stay in high vibe that you are first and foremost a spiritual being. When you live from this perspective, you move beyond positions of good/ bad, win/lose, and right/wrong. You do not need to fight those who hold fear-based polarized patterns, but rather join in a sacred community with those who have already committed their lives to love, peace, and high vibration. Trust that love can open your heart, raise your vibration, and dissolve negativity. 

Each of us has been called to create a higher vibration of love in the world. The toxic cloud of negativity can no longer hang over the planet like a suffocating blanket of pollution. We can transcend this dark cloud of unenlightened, unconscious thinking and become a drop in the vast ocean of love by taking responsibility for our energyThrough the collective elevation of our vibration, we can transcend fear and negativity and raise our vibration and the vibration of the world.
