5 Powerful Questions that Will Transform Your Life

5 Powerful Questions that Will Transform Your Life by Patricia Young | #AspireMag

If you ever feel that there’s got to be more to your ever day life, you’ll love this, because these questions will help you open the door to possibilities and see things from a different perspective. Here’s the thing, our perception of things will either make ourselves miserable, or will make ourselves live in more joy, and the amount of effort and energy it takes, believe it or not, is the same.

So, when you feel overwhelmed, like stuck in a rut and like if you have checked out of life, this is the time to really start digging deeper and get the awareness you need to explore what needs to change, what needs to be healed or released. Most of the times our problems are just a matter of perspective, or a belief regarding certain situation, so it could feel very real, but is it really true?

That’s why I’m sharing 5 powerful questions that have helped me transform my life in different situations. You can use them as journaling prompts if you want, and you will be amazed at what can come up and be released during the writing process!

Here they are:

1) When you feel that there is a lot going on and different issues are kind of out of control, there’s usually a main issue that is asking for our highest attention, so a good question to ask yourself is: “What is needing my highest attention now?”. The answers might surprise you because you could realize that you have not set healthy boundaries, or maybe you’re not respecting your boundaries, you might not be taking enough time for sacred self-care, or maybe you’re not acknowledging what it is that you’re tolerating in life.

2) When you feel called to do something different, or you want to s-t-r-e-t-c-h yourself and step out of your comfort zone, but you get this nagging voice in your head about how you’re not good enough to do it, and self-doubt kicks in, ask yourself these questions, because remember, we always create our reality with our thoughts and beliefs:

Whose belief is this?

Do I know this belief is true?

Do I really want to believe that?

What will I create by holding on to this belief? Do I really want to keep holding on to this belief?

3) When you are uncertain about what choice to make, and you feel in a little bit of analysis paralysis, ask yourself: “What will change in my future with this choice?”. This will help you visualize a little bit more in detail every option before you make your choice. Another good question for this is: “What will I regret in the future?”, that way you’ll motivate yourself to take an inspired action that feels more authentic to you.

4) Sometimes, when we’re going through rough times it’s hard to see the positive side, but if we’re open enough to understand that every situation happens for us and not to us, we can gain a lot of insight and allow ourselves to grow in the process. One good question that I have asked myself many times is: “What am I being invited to see/learn/shift?

5) Same as above, another way of opening yourself to see more possibilities is by asking yourself: “What if this brings opportunities that I didn’t think about? What can this make possible?

You can use these questions over and over, so you can shift your perspective about any challenges or situations you might be facing. At the end of the day, the way we react or respond to certain situations, and the beliefs we hold on to, will create the world we live in and how our lives unfold.
