3 Steps to Infusing Your Actions with More Power

3 Steps to Infusing Your Actions with More Power by Kellyann Schaefer | #AspireMag

There is so much we can learn about time management, productivity and work life balance right?

But what are some of the things you can do to make each and every ACTION a moment of success… a way to EXPERIENCE what you put out in the world?

As we create goals and action items in our life, it’s important to give each action its greatest opportunity for success. Otherwise we’re just running around doing, doing, and doing but not always gaining the results we’re hoping for.

My whole view on life and what I desire for myself and our clients is to Live a life on purpose, Love yourself and those around you, and be as Happy as possible.

There was a point in time (ok, many times) where I was just forging forward… With conviction and desire. But I realized I was constantly in the state of “doing” and not always enjoying the experience or gaining the results I was hoping for.

After much self-discovery, reading and learning, I found a way to ensure better outcomes with each of my actions. I learned how to focus more and release the reckless hoping and doing.

For each purposeful action you take, here are 3 things that are tried and true to create better outcomes, enjoyment and experiences.

For in life isn’t that our main goal? One of joyful experiences?

1.    Visualize

Before taking part in tasks and actions, take the time to visualize a positive outcome.

Close your eyes and “see” with your mind’s eye this goal coming to fruition. The visualization alone of that experience will fuel you when you hit resistance. This can be used for everything!! Visualize that front row parking space. Or the chapter of your book complete and in your hands. Taking the time to enjoy your family during a meal. Visualization gives flight to hopes. (Damn… I like that statement!! I think I’ll use that often!)

2.    Feel

Now that the vision is in your mind. Really experience it. What would it feel like to you to get that raise? How would you feel every time you went into your closet and had your clothes neatly arranged and enticing you instead of digging through piles? How excited do you get after you finished doing an online seminar where you were able to teach someone something that will move their life forward? Are you jumping up and down? Are you smiling ear to ear? Does your heart feel full and grateful? Really “feeeeeel” that outcome your intending.

3.    Act

Now… take action! Strategic action! Because all the visualizing in the world is not going to bring your dreams to life without acting upon the opportunities in your life to make those things happen. Find the time and space in your life to ACT upon the things that will bring your closer to your life goals. And remember, that each small deliberate action is another stone to step upon. Success and goal achievement is just a series of concise actions away.

So what I want to do is encourage you before you act to visualize what you want that outcome to be. Feel the experience of having it come true then have at it!!

It’s crazy that when you do this process and those things “happen” you’re like Holy Shit! That was fuuun! I even do this grocery shopping. I’ll visualize open cash registers. No line at the deli counter. Getting home early and feeling how excited I’ll be to sit and have my family around me for a delicious meal. And it happens!

The power of the mind upon our goals and experiences is a beautiful thing…

Try it out and when you get all giddy about actions becoming more effective , know I’m cheering you on!

For each of us, the only things we are truly meant to do are: Live, Love and Be Happy…
