We have each traveled our unique path in this world, that is sometimes crazy, sometimes serene, always taking the opportunity to evoke reaction, learning and growth from you. There is one thing that is consistent in every one of our experiences and that is compassion. Each of us has accepted and offered differing levels of compassion to ourselves and to those who we encounter, but that sliver of compassion is the glimmer of hope that carries us through the day and on to the next.
I have always been open about the fact that I am my own worst judge. I have heard things in my head that I would never say to another person. I have been learning to become gentler with myself by offer myself the same compassion that each of us deserves.
My work with the Divine Feminine has provided me the tools the cultivate the compassion that I never knew I was capable of. It comes from a place of genuine caring and love and once the flow starts, it is virtually impossible to stem.
Every person has wounds we cannot see, and the reality is that no matter how awful our own struggle is, every other person is also embroiled in what may seem insurmountable to them. There are days that one of my principle struggles is just keeping myself in check and not boiling over because I am so stressed out and spread so thin. (I also have teenagers, so that explains lots)! It is in these moments that I am very intentional about stepping back from the annoyances of my day and I take a deep breath.
As I breathe compassion in and exhale stress and judgment, I take the opportunity to share the flow of compassion with others, especially those I don’t know. In the current climate of the world, it is my duty to share as much compassion, joy and presence as I possibly can.
As you read this, please know that I am sharing the flow of compassion and kindness with you, right now, in this very moment. I invite you to step into that flow and feel the warmth and vibration washing away your stress. Know that I care and so do so many others.
These are the three sacred steps I take to remind myself of the compassion I deserve to receive, and I want to share them.

I prefer to do this exercise in the form of a waking meditation. I find a spot to sit comfortably. It can be done anywhere. Sometimes, it is in my car in the back corner of a parking lot. Ideally, find a place that elicits relaxation. If your office is extremely stressful, then step out to find some nature, if you can.
Relax into your space with your eyes open and notice things around you that you weren’t aware of before. Find beauty in places that you hadn’t seen it before. The shade of the grass may be a brilliant shade of jade that you hadn’t seen before, or the sound of the birds may be particularly loud and joyous. Take the time to notice the beauty around you.
As you take a deep breath in, inhale the compassion you already have swirling around you – sometimes, I like to see it as an emerald green sparkling light. Allow the beauty you have noticed to amplify the compassion and love you are feeling and breathing in.
With every exhale, allow all the breath in your lungs to fully pass through your open mouth and with it, the stress of your day and the judgment coursing through you, escapes with the breath and dissipates into the space outside of your aura.
Now, as the bubbles of compassion fill your body and the energy field around you, notice the bubbles popping. As the tiny bubbles pop and the sizzle of energy carries your flow of compassion out into the universe to serve others, I am always intentional about smiling in this space, as I want the energy flowing from me to others to infused with the highest vibration possible – and what is possibly better than compassion, love and happiness?
The role of the Divine Feminine is instrumental in the equation of compassion. She is a soft place to land, a roaring champion, a quiet space in the chaos and the dark from which you can be renewed. Knowing that the Divine Feminine energies that support and guide me, are always present, I have been far more able to remain present for myself and those that I serve. The Divine Feminine does not dwell and judge all the choices and transgressions in our past. Nor does she worry about the things that may come tomorrow, as that is not reality yet. The time that is most worthy of your attention and that of the Divine Feminine is right now. What can you do to share and spread compassion in present moment? I find the best place to start is with yourself.
Choosing compassion and supporting your fellow human beings is not always the easy option. Letting go of your own human reaction and embodying compassion takes practice, discipline and intention. Once you can see past your own judgment and appreciate the real impact your compassion has on yourself and others, the choice becomes less of an option and more the only one.
The art of offering compassion must start with yourself. You are supported by a universe that isn’t programmed for suffering and pain. The default state you are designed to enjoy is joy and happiness and the sooner you surrender into your natural state of being, the faster you can ride the wave of compassion to your own joy and happiness. It really is an inside job.
