2 Simple Daily Practices to Reset Your Mind & Emotions in Just Minutes a Day

2 Simple Daily Practices to Reset Your Mind & Emotions in Just Minutes a Day by Lisa Hromada | #AspireMag

You know how it goes…

One day you’re starting your morning with affirmations, a hot cup of tea, and maybe even a little quiet journaling—

and the next, you’re reheating that same cup of coffee for the third time, trying to remember where you left your phone and your sanity.

When life gets hectic (which, let’s be honest, can be most days), it’s so easy to let go of the practices that bring you peace, joy, and a sense of connection.

And the things that keep you grounded and inspired somehow get pushed to the bottom of your to-do list… somewhere between “complete this project” and “figure out what’s for dinner.”

And then, without even realizing it, you’re knee-deep in mind-chatter, riding waves of emotion, and telling yourself stories that don’t exactly feel empowering. It’s no wonder you feel a bit off-kilter—like you’re living slightly outside yourself.

Ask me how I know! I’ve been there.

But today, my friend, is about breaking free and liberating yourself through the power of harmonizing your mind and emotions.

I’ve got two easy-to-do practices you can slip into your day (even the busy, messy ones) to help you stay grounded, clear-headed, and in that sweet flow where life feels just a little more magical and manageable.

When your mind and emotions are in sync, you reconnect with the calm, wise, empowered woman within you—the one who can move through life with more ease and confidence.

The simple practices have helped me through some of my most overwhelming moments. And I know they can support you, too.

My daily practice centers around three main areas of focus:

  • Spiritual surrender.
Letting go of control and inviting in Divine guidance.
  • Nurturing your inner world.
Your thoughts, emotions, and beliefs shape how you feel and what you create.
  • Taking aligned action from a place of feeling good.
So that your next steps feel lighter and truer to you.

What’s truly beautiful is that these three areas naturally flow into two simple practices that can deeply shift how you see yourself, how you navigate challenges, and how much joy and ease you feel as you create and live your life.

I’m going to share a simple way I weave spiritual practices into a full, often energy-shifting day—because like you, I’m moving through many roles and responsibilities that all matter deeply.

Each day requires something a little different, depending on what life is asking of me—kids, work, home life, relationships, self-care… all the things we try to hold with love and intention.

What I invite you to do is notice which of these practices—or your own version of them—feels good to bring into your day. See how they begin to gently shift your thoughts, emotions, and overall sense of well-being.

Right now, my daily practices includes two simple types of practices that support me through the beautiful, messy balance of life—and I’ll walk you through them next.

#1 AUDIOS to Nurture Your Mind, Emotions, Body, and Spirit

I begin and end my day by listening to Audios.

Audios are by far the most powerful and easiest tools because they integrate sound, beats, and vibration which communicate with the energy in your body, and in some cases, the audios use the energy and frequency of words and cadence and the vibration of voice – all having a natural harmonious effect with those energy systems within your body.

Audios can be music, nature sounds, meditations, affirmations, binaural beats, or podcasts.

  • Choose audios that:
  • uplifts your emotions
  • nurtures your mindset
  • reconnects you with your higher self and Source
  • makes you laugh
  • or calms you down
  • whatever you need at any given moment on any given day.

I start each day before my kids wake up—sometimes it’s 10 minutes, sometimes 30. Even if I’m multitasking, I make that time, because I believe this deeply:

Before you give yourself to the world, you have to give yourself to yourself.

It’s a quote from one of my mentors that stays with me, and it’s how I begin—and end—my day.

At night, as my kids drift off to sleep (and still love having me nearby—such a gift), I’ll play a meditation, affirmations, or binaural beats.

This simple habit of listening has been a powerful reset. It supports both my conscious and subconscious mind, helping to gently harmonize my thoughts, emotions, and beliefs.

You can find so many beautiful audios on YouTube, create your own, or explore the ones I offer in my Divine Reset™ Experience Guided Self-Paced Video Course and the Free Divine Reset™ 5-Piece Gift Set.
The key is to choose the ones that speak directly to the area you’re ready to shift—whether it’s your thoughts, emotions, or beliefs.

When you align with the right message at the right time in your life, it can powerfully guide your energy, your choices, and the results you begin to experience.

It truly makes all the difference.

#2 Creative and Physical Outlet

The second practice I lean into is having a creative or physical outlet to move energy—especially when emotions feel heavy or my mind starts to spiral (which happens to all of us!).

It could be journaling, coloring mandalas, singing, stretching, yoga, EFT tapping, or simply dancing around the kitchen with your kids. Anything that helps release stuck energy and brings you back to center.

Personally, I go through seasons where journaling becomes my go-to. I ask myself a few soul-guided questions, then let whatever wants to flow come through. It’s a beautiful way to invite clarity and higher guidance.

And each morning, as I listen to soothing music—often a 432Hz frequency—I stretch for just 5 to 10 minutes. No overthinking. Just breath, body, and presence.

It’s incredible how something so simple can shift your mood, calm your nervous system, and reconnect you with peace.

The key is choosing what feels good in this season of your life. When your thoughts, emotions, and energy are in harmony, you:

  • Think more clearly.
  • Respond more calmly.
  • Feel more connected.
  • Open to guidance.
  • And flow with life—and what you’re creating—more naturally.

It doesn’t have to take a lot of time. Just a few minutes of soul-aligned movement or creative expression can make all the difference.

My best piece of advice, beautiful soul, is to keep it simple.

Incorporate some stillness time, creative time, task time, and physical time into your day – even if it’s a few minutes here and there – and know that, if there are days that you can’t incorporate it all, that happens, have grace, do what you need to do, regroup, and begin again the next day.

Have a beautiful day and as always, relax in the knowing.
